With Nebby joining the B1G Conference, they are going to have to become a basketball school.

Michigan has tons of talent. I like Beilein...always have. However, Nebraska started 0-4 in the conference and didn't quit on their coach. I give it to Miles.

Truth.

Beilein supporters are going to say that he lost a lot of talent from last season and with injuries in-season he had to tweak his team, etc. Both coaches have done a heck of a job. I hate Neb and can't stand Mich fans. I'd give it to Miles, too.

Quite an accomplishment, I love LeVert, he seems to have come from nowhere, Staukaus is perhaps POY in the Big and Robinson, Jr is coming on very forcefully.....

He is certainly deserving. They are a team to be feared now, but the way Michigan is playing without McGary is also exceptional. Both deserve it.....

Perhaps I'm watching a different team than everybody else. They certainly get major props for winning at EL, a place we haven't won at since 1993.

But when you look at their losses, there have been some unreal beatdowns there. They lost by 31 to OSU. By 29 to Michigan. By 10 to us. By 11 to Illinois. That's 4 conference losses by an average margin of over 20 points per game.

By contrast, we haven't lost a single game all year by double digits.

I'll take my chances against them any day.

Nebraska is a totally different team away from home. Great win at msu, but msu played horrible. Nebraska is 3-10 in road/neutral games.

Nebraska is a better story right now. An Iowa win on Thursday, followed with a home win on Saturday, and Nebraska is yesterday's story. (Where they rightfully belong)

And there we have it...it isn't because they are a special team. It is Nebraska, my argument is that UM lost the National POY, another first round player and a preseason 1st team All-American.

Yes, Stauskas/LaVert have improved as much as anyone, but are either the caliber of Burke/Hardaway as a combo? UM is starting a FR at PG and his backup was recruited by nobody.

Does UM have talent? Yeah, but they aren't the most talented roster.

Looking at their roster and their top 3 players are Sophomores and the starting PG is a Freshman. They only lose one Senior. I think they will maintain playing quality basketball in the B1G for a few more years to come.

The Selection Committee will probably have their own opinions on Nebraska, Minnesota, Illinois and Indiana. It really doesn't matter what the talking heads say.

Nebraska is just a fun team to like because Nebraska basketball has never done anything, ever. At the end of the day we're still much, much better than the Huskers.
