Didn't Iowa used to encourage fans to bring canned goods? Maybe that was the Fall Family day event.

I'd like to see the Athletic department allow fans/kids onto the field afterwards to run around.

I also grew up on a farm, but as you go west in Nebraska you see more and more corn, fueled by more and more irrigators. They are growing corn in colorado and Wyoming now. Also, Nebraska is #3 in corn production (11% of U.S. production) behind Iowa (18%) and Illinois (17.5%). they are also 5th in soybean production. (Iowa is number 1)

That's going to come in handy when those idiots start running their "go to" smack about Iowa being nothing but farmers...

Any chance you have Minnesota's numbers handy too, hawkfarmer?
