If they win 6 and go bowling, Frost will not be fired. No way
Winning 6 will be a huge challenge for them, the rest of their schedule isn't easy. Bad timing drawing MSU, Michigan, and OSU as cross over games.

If his name wasn't Scott Frost, he could make a bowl and be let go. Seeing how his name IS "Scott Frost"...if he makes a bowl, I think he's golden. If they win 6 and go bowling, Frost will not be fired. No way
Yeah, their schedule is murder. IF they can stay mentally tough, I think they've got some very winnable games left. That's a big IF though. I hear some of Scooter's post game comments and "mentally tough" isn't the first thing that comes to mind.Winning 6 will be a huge challenge for them, the rest of their schedule isn't easy. That would be the biggest accomplishment Nebraska has had since losing the Music City bowl!If they win 6 and go bowling, Frost will not be fired. No way
Between you and me, I think the Hawks will be more hyped to secure a chance at a playoff birth than the Flailing Frosts will be to get an invite to the Portland Clam Chowder Bowl.Yeah, their schedule is murder. I think Nebraska coming into Black Friday at 5-6 is an extremely likely scenario. Given what I think may be on the line for the Hawks at that juncture, that scares me.
Agree 100% on Nebby's biggest inefficiency being consistency and mentally soft. But I think we're looking at the Black Friday game all wrong in the event Nebby would be playing for bowl birth. Sure they may be hyped and ready to go, but I don't think that level of intensity would match a team that would be potentially playing a conference championship shortly after, with possibly everything on the line.Yeah, their schedule is murder. Looks like Nebraska has taken a step forward since their terrible outing against Illinois this year. They're 1-2 in the conference and it will get worse but when I think of them I think of 2008 Iowa. A team in the weeds who can F your season up.
