Nebbie's Game Tonight Likely Decides Frost's Fate

Winning 6 will be a huge challenge for them, the rest of their schedule isn't easy. Bad timing drawing MSU, Michigan, and OSU as cross over games.
Yeah, their schedule is murder. IF they can stay mentally tough, I think they've got some very winnable games left. That's a big IF though. I hear some of Scooter's post game comments and "mentally tough" isn't the first thing that comes to mind.

I think Nebraska coming into Black Friday at 5-6 is an extremely likely scenario. Given what I think may be on the line for the Hawks at that juncture, that scares me.

Between you and me, I think the Hawks will be more hyped to secure a chance at a playoff birth than the Flailing Frosts will be to get an invite to the Portland Clam Chowder Bowl.

While I did not expect that sort of beat down, it went down about as I thought. I will stick with what I predicted, they split the next two, beat Purdue, and then Frost has to get an upset in his last 3. Wisconsin is not great, but they have a good defense and are at home. That is their best shot. OSU and Iowa look too salty, but Nebbie will give both teams all they got. Nebraska will be a tough out the rest of this year.

While that sucks, I am no longer worried about NW. They are shit and we will kick the crap out of them for a change.

Agree 100% on Nebby's biggest inefficiency being consistency and mentally soft. But I think we're looking at the Black Friday game all wrong in the event Nebby would be playing for bowl birth. Sure they may be hyped and ready to go, but I don't think that level of intensity would match a team that would be potentially playing a conference championship shortly after, with possibly everything on the line.

I'm not saying there isn't skill on within the Nebraska program, but we've seen them fade year in and year out at the end of the season. I'm not sure I don't see this year being any different. And if this season ends up being a special one I for one would want everything Nebby had thrown at us, because the games are only going to get more difficult and more important from that point on.

Looks like Nebraska has taken a step forward since their terrible outing against Illinois this year. They're 1-2 in the conference and it will get worse but when I think of them I think of 2008 Iowa. A team in the weeds who can F your season up.

They look okay, but I think their passing attack is going to implode as it gets cold.
