The score looks like a flashback to the days of Osborne.
Was there some significance to your identification of the line judge as a female?Lady line judge completely missed intentional grounding, another member of the crew finally threw the flag twenty seconds after the play.
Not many women grace the sidelines of our sport and we should take notice of the trendsetters who do!Was there some significance to your identification of the line judge as a female?
Nebraska is better than you guys think. Scary team right nowThe score looks like a flashback to the days of Osborne.
Yeah, that's what I've been saying too.Nebraska is better than you guys think. Scary team right now
I made the same point re: Frost a few weeks back and sorta got pounced on.As far as I am concerned Nebraska can win all it wants to between now and the Ohio State game. Just so they come crashing back to earth in time for the Iowa game.
I would be perfectly happy to see them retain Frost.

Yeah, that's what I've been saying too.
Relative to where their delusional, jorts wearing fanbase thinks they belong...they suck.
In the grand scheme of things though...they're ok.
They'll be sitting at either 5 or 6 wins when we play them.
They are at 3-3 after tonight's blasting of NW. They should beat Minnesota and Purdue. Wisconsin is probably a toss up as I see it right now. Michigan and OSU will surely pound them.
I think they want to beat us BAD either way, but I'm kind of hoping for the 6 wins scenario so it's not us sitting between them and a bowl bid.
Michigan is looking awfully good right now. The east side of the BIG is gonna be a dog fight.Michigan isn't a lock to win that game...especially if the good Adrian Martinez shows up.

At least they are wearing better uni's this week.Just going to add, without significant shifts in the overall CFB landscape, Nebraska's days of competing for national titles are over. Not even Saban could get them there. But winning at Iowa or even Wisconsin levels? Oh, shit, yeah they could totally do that. That would suck for us on multiple levels. So, in my book, the smart Hawk fan would be rooting for Nebraska to go about 6-6 and make a bowl. Give those mouth breathers a little hope.
They breathe through their mouths there because that whole state smells like ass crack.
Dumb Hawk fan here. I’d rather see them lose every damn game, finish in the cellar, and keep the dumpster fire blazing. A 6-6 team doesn’t satisfy the mouth breathers anyway and who can they get if they fire Frost? Unfortunately, it's just not that bad of a gig. They don't recruit at an elite OSU/PSU level, but they still consistently pull quite good talent. I disagree, with the way they treated Solich and Pelini no established coach will go there. It’s not a destination anymore for top recruits since they left the Big 12 nor do they have a big population base to recruit from like Wisconsin has.Unfortunately, it's just not that bad of a gig. The right coach could win there. Certainty level = 100%. Much, much harder jobs out there. They pull talent. What they've lacked is a combination of (a) pulling the RIGHT talent, (b) developing it, and (c) making appropriate use of it on the field.
In terms of degree of difficulty, even after the amazing 40 year run of consistency that HF/KF have established, Iowa is a tougher job than Nebraska. Not "way tougher", but a notch higher in terms of degree of difficulty.
As I said before, barring major shifts in the landscape, their days of being consistently conference champions and CFP contenders are gone. But could they compete at a Wisconsin level? Oh yeah, don't kid yourself, they could do Wisconsin levels of winning easily.
I will say, even if they do hire a decent coach at some point, I think there is a very realistic possibility of that coach jumping ship for greener pastures based upon what I said in the previous paragraph (i.e. it's not a consistent championship program in the current landscape).
I agree with 100% of that, but I think you used a key word that I'm going to point out: "established".I disagree, with the way they treated Solich and Pelini no established coach will go there. The alumni and fan base still has sky high expectations. Until they realize their best outcome is to do what Iowa is doing every year they will remain a dumpster fire program.

Hell no they aren't going to hire an established coach, but an up and coming mid major coach? They'd be right in the mix, I think.
I think they are one solid hire (and maybe a retooling season or two) away from being a consistent 9-10 game winner again.
They are a dumpster fire only as it relates to the gap between on field performance and the levels of delusion still being maintained by their fanbase.
Well then maybe we are not too far apart, I think they could score an up and coming mid major coach but I think their days of being a consistent 9-10 game winner is over. Again I think their alumni and fan base needs to lower their expectations on who they are before they can ever re-establish themselves as a football program. Otherwise they will keep churning through coaches every 3-4 years and continue digging themselves a hole unless they get really lucky.
Nebraska would be fortunate to get to where Iowa is at winning 8 games a year while making a run every 4-5 years. But the only way they will be able to do it is allow a coach to come in and breath without the pressure of having to win the Big Ten every year and I don't see that happening any time soon.
So my hope is they keep churning through coaches.
