NCAA Tourney Thread

I have been a basketball fan for 45 years. College and NBA. Not so much the last 15 years for the NBA but was I a pretty avid NBA fan in the 60s. I've been a Hawkeye fan my whole life. I have never seen such horrible refereeing. The NBA has had it's stretches that were pretty bad but I always chalked it up to organized sports betting. This college season and the NCAA tournament so far has been the worst I have ever seen. To many games have had their outcomes determined by HorseShit reffing all year long.
I think big money and gambling entered the college game about 15 to 20 years ago and IMO has become more and more influential in the outcome of games, especially the NCAA tournament. A lot of it was due to the decline of the NBA over those years due to the lack of interest and declining fan base. When the gangster mentality took over the game.
Anyway, for what ever the reason HS refereeing ruins a basketball game for me.

I'm not saying I'm going to watch, but it will be interesting to see how they do next year. They lose a lot after this year, most of them Hoiberg recruits.

GO HAWKS!!!

Michigan down 8 to Louisville at half. Great 2nd half and Wagner going off got Michigan the lead. 2 Wolverine turnovers against the press brought Louisville back. Big bucket by Walton gives Michigan 4 point lead.

I heard ISU just breezes to sweet 16s. What happened?

Yep, they were saying how slow and awful Purdue was. I bet a lot of Kansas City tickets are available as they thought it was a siren thing that they were gonna beat Purdue. The real question is could the Clowns bear a BigTen team this year, as they were 0-2.

That's the "official" policy, but traditionally teams have been spread out pretty evenly. I've never seen 3 Big Ten teams in one region and only 1 in two others.
I thought there was also something about conference teams not meeting until the Elite 8. I could be wrong and, given the current situation I obviously am. Must be the Sweet 16.

Yeah. Been changed to sweet 16. If Purdue-Mich St play each other in BTT, MSU would be in a different regional. Same thing for ISU being regionalized with Kansas.

Dumb question.......How does Rafferty work for Fox and CBS at the same time?
