refs don't understand what constitutes a block and a charge all across basketball.

I think they understand it. Just that it's such a bang bang play it can be very very difficult to call.

Wow... Break for ISU as Roy was calling for a timeout much earlier but refs didn't see it.

As an official you have to know the situation and anticipate that timeout.

The official on the other side of court saw him call tge TO and came over with hands in the air. Should have had 1 more play, folks.

Interesting end to the game. UNC calls timeout thinking there is still time on the clock. Ref runs by Roy calling timeout. Replay shows clock didn't start correctly after UNC inbounds the ball. So, game is over. I have not seen that before.
