The NCAA has put old NCAA tourney games on its site. There a couple Hawk games including the horrible loss to UNLV in 1987.

Pretty cool site, but I hope they add more. The only 2 Iowa games are two of the most devastating losses in Iowa history, NW State & UNLV.

I really want to rewatch the game against UAB in the 1999 tourney. I remember Kent McCausland went crazy that game and I have always wanted to watch a replay of that game. The Arkansas game after that was good too.

I,ve always wanted to rewatch the final four with Lute, a hampered Lester, Boyle, etc. I was 12 and can remember seeing it, but as a young teen you watch BB differently than you do as an adult.

I live in KC and I still remember that Arkansas game. Or was it the next one against UConn? One of those games was bad weather in the KC viewing area (but not anywhere close to KC) and the game was being played on the local CBS affiliate. They were making their name by being the one station that would put the weather on no matter what if it was bad so that anyone anywhere in the viewing area could go to them and know what the weather was. Unfortunately, many times there was just one little sliver of bad weather in some outlying area of the broadcast area and the damn weather woman who shall remain nameless but in known throughout KC would be on FOREVER. And she was on during the Iowa game this year.

I called a friend of mine up back home in Iowa and had him give me a blow by blow that I relayed to the Iowa crowd at The Other Place sports bar in Overland Park until the weather gal got off of the airwaves. I was a pretty popular guy during that stretch of the game, to be sure. As I remember it better after talking myself through it I am pretty sure it was the Arkansas game.

I can't wait until next year when I will get a chance to watch the Hawks again in the NCAA Tournament at The Other Place, assuming they don't win their next four or five games this season.
