Brackets, seeds announced for National Duals finals

No. 1 Oklahoma State v. No. 8 Illinois
No. 4 Ohio State v. No. 5 Missouri
No. 3 Minnesota v. No. 6 Virginia Tech
No. 2 Iowa v. No. 7 Cornell

Iowa, currently the No. 2 ranked team in the nation, also received an automatic bid to the National Dual Meet Championship Finals. The Hawkeyes, 18-1 on the season, come in as the second seed and will look to take down seventh seeded Cornell in the opening round of competition.

twade - I see you have Kelly listed. Do you know if he'll be available? I understand he's been nursing an elbow injury.

Unfortunately I'm lucky to make it to IC once every couple of years any more. Definitely a negative to living outside of the midwest.

I'm going off the talk that they were resting Kelly until the postseason - I assumed that meant NCAA duals as we can't afford to give up bonus at 149 vs. Minnesota, let alone vs. Okie State in a potential finals match. Grothus vs. either Ness or Oliver scares me.

The wrestler you reference is Waters. He is ranked #4 despite being undefeated because he hasn't faced the toughest competition this season.

BTN isn't airing it, though it looks like they'll webcast the championship match. Still not sure about coverage of Friday night and the Saturday afternoon semis. Last week flowrestling covered the regionals, so maybe they'll do the same this weekend?

I just uploaded a new file - I had Waters with the #2 ranking rather than #4.

Why aren't people piling on PSU for not participating. If Iowa sat out we'd be getting ridiculed.
