Nate showed clutch when it counted

The field goal kicker punking him. lol
Thanks. Did not know. And, just looked at a photo on Hawk Central taken on Duncan’s field goal. I swear NE’s #22 used the back of one of his teammates to aid his jump. Look at where his right leg/foot are in the photo. Or, maybe he has a 50” vertical...

Never understand why the COACHING staff doesn't put him in better position to excel. He has had a history of making some HUGE throws and today if Tracy holds on to the 2 simple throws he gets we may win that thing by 2 TDs. I like the Tracy kid but he's got to be better than that.

He will be.

You can be fast, run highly technical routes, get open with ease, but if you can't catch the football you really are limited as a WR.

I think I'm more happy for Stanley than anyone else on the team for this win. He gets way too much blame for the teams deficiencies. What a great game winning drive by Stanley, especially considering he had to shrug off the struggles he had all game long. He made 3 perfect throws to give Iowa a shot at the win. What a gutty game for Nate.

That pick 6 was horrible but he made some clutch plays at the end.

His stats would have looked much better if Tracy would have caught those 2 passes.

yeah since one would have been for a first down and kept the drive going when we were moving on em, and the second would have been for like a 70 yard td, definitely would have changed the game had he made those two catches.

I've been pretty tough on Stanley not being a guy who can go get us a win. I'm so happy for that kid today. That final drive means that he has won us some games during his career by making key throws when it counted. And all those games are against Iowa state and Nebraska. And you know what. If you're gonna go win some games, beat those two teams. Now if we could figure out wiscy in the offseason. Happy for Nate, great hawk, heck of a player, gonna miss him. He bleeds black and gold and you gotta love that. Despite the refs best efforts, Nate undaunted was laser like with his precision to go win us that game yesterday. Just impressive stuff. Great stuff outta Stanley and the whole team.

Nate, remember, don't make a mistake, we have a punter and a strong defense. Field goals are our friend. If we give up the lead, we can try a couple of 20 yard passes. OK coach.

Agree, mismanaged ugly win (more pain inflicted on Frosted Flakes!) but Stanley won the game with those two clutch passes. (The Huskers were playing the edges, leaving the middle open)...well, Stanley won it other than the Stone Cold Kicker! Causing Frosty Tears...

It's too bad that Stanley doesn't have the same confidence and swagger as Duncan. He might be in the running for Heisman. But he made the big throws late yesterday so big props to him.

What in the world was Frost bitching about?
He was reminding them that:
—Nebraska was the home team
and that

—the Big10 wanted them to get to 6 wins
and that

—they were supposed to get EVERY call so just follow the lead of the replay booth
and that

—this one call is costing them a chance to successfully run the clown kick return and win the game

Yes, Nate delivered when delivery was necessary, am happy for him. His game was kind of a dud really, no thanks to Mr Tracy. Hoping he has a phenomenal final game as a Hawk against a quality opponent to end his career on a high note.

Seems our 2nd best and most bruising RB is in the dog house. What's up with that? I think he can move the chains as good or nearly as good as Goodson can.
