Name that Iowa Freshman Point Guard

Says the guy who doesn't watch games or understand basketball in general.

You just said Woodbury, Sapp and Mike were so bad on offense last year but in reality they were much better than the guy you are trying to defend. I think only one of us in this conversation understands basketball

I'm sure if I looked I could find an example or two of a terrible offensive center who shot a good percentage. If he shot 20% better or whatever you said, that puts him somewhere in the 50s from the field? Considering he shot 90% layups, that's not very good on offense. Of course you probably only watched Woody play one game per year so you wouldn't know.

Woodbury last year had a much better offensive rating than Bohannon. You can't just make stuff up

Of course he would be better if he wasn't asked to be a starting Big Ten PG and could come off the bench and have his role as a spot up shooter

That's not what I'm implying and I think you know that. If Jordan were to play MG's role last year their PERs would be about the same.

The reason for the drop off this year comes from losing a four year starter at center, a senior guard, and first team All-American.

Jarrod Uthoff had a PER of 27.9 last year. Cook's is 16.9. Can you see how that drop off is worse than our PG drop off or do you need further explanation?

Jordan's PER would probably be a little better but not as good as Mike's last year. What first team All American did we lose?

So they would have fairly similar PERs given the same situation? So it's settled, it wasn't very hard to replace MG's production. We've certainly lost more production elsewhere. Glad we could clear that up.

No I think Mike would still have a higher PER

It took him long enough. I don't know why he tries so hard to find random excuses why we are having a drop off. It's obvious we miss Uthoff. Well that and Woody's layup percentage apparently.

Thank god we have a hawk fan here to help convince everyone how bad our players suck.

I never said Jordan's would be higher troll. But you've basically admitted defeat here. Mike as a senior was slightly better than Jordan, but the drop off isn't astounding. Certainly not something to dread over on a daily basis, unless off course you are a troll...

You must be bad if you can't compete with 7 footer's layup percentage.

Sapp and Mike had much better offensive ratings too and they were so bad on offense. I'm surprised you are so down on Bohannon, I didn't realize you thought he was so bad offensively

I think the drop off is pretty big but I also appreciate good defense

So I assume someone who plays 30 minutes a game and goes 2-4 would have a better per than someone who goes 4-9? I think I found a flaw.
