Excellent theme song for a kick-ass 80s movie. The Blue Ray has a place of honor on my movie shelf.

A young Willem Dafoe and William Petersen as adversaries. Worth a look.

The fact INXS was part of the movie soundtrack was a major reason Sutherland took the role as David.

If I'm not mistaken, Paul Rodgers was going through some of his own tribulations (including substance issues) in the mid 1980's.

That whole 1980's Aussie pub scene was one of the coolest. INXS, Midnight Oil, The Church, Split Enz (who come over from New Zealand) etc. And not only has the music has aged well, the political themes still resonate. Especially with, and I'm not pushing politics either direction, a Reagan clone in our office.
 

While I'm not particularly a Beatles' fan, I found this video to be unique and excellent quality.

(Now, just where is that piano coming from??)
