Name that Band

"Willin'"

I been warped by the rain
Driven by the snow
I'm drunk and dirty, don't you know
And I'm still... willin'

And I was out on the road late at night
I seen my pretty Alice in every headlight
Alice, Dallas Alice

I've been from Tucson to Tucumcari
Tehachapi to Tonapah
Driven every kind of rig that's ever been made
Driven the back roads
So I wouldn't get weighed
And if you give me weed, whites, and wine
And you show me a sign
I'll be willin'... to be movin'

Well, I've been kicked by the wind
Robbed by the sleet
Had my head stoved in
But I'm still on my feet
And I'm still... willin'

I smuggled some smokes
And folks from Mexico
Baked by the sun
Every time I go to Mexico
And I'm still...

And I been from Tuscon to Tucumcari
Tehachapi to Tonapah
Driven every kind of rig that's ever been made
Driven the back roads
So I wouldn't get weighed
And if you give me weed, whites, and wine
And you show me a sign
I'll be willin'... to be movin'

Sometimes you hear a song in a certain setting and you like it from then on. Absent that event, don't know I'd have liked this song.

As for album covers, way too many to sort through.

Kansas, Styx, Molly Hatchet, Nazareth, all had great covers.

Here's a couple more that come to mind:

I have to be in the right mood for country, but when I do listen to it, it's always to older classic stuff, such as Waylon, and here's a couple more of my favorite country performers:

One of those great nostalgia graduation songs. Of course does not remind me of my graduation...but somehow of others'. hard to explain that....maybe you know what I mean
