That's because VCU won the play in game and got in the Tournament.
Duh, it ends up being an extension of the rounds then.

Iowa has a banner, as does everyone else that's made that- all the sports reference sites you can find list it as an NCAA appearance. The only people who do not recognize it as such are ISU fans, conspiracy theorist and terrorist.
Question: Can a team that plays in a play-in game have a chance to go all the way and win the tournament? Just sayin'.
Exactly.
If you win a PLAY IN game,
you are then in THE TOURNAMENT.
If it was a tourney game to begin with, teams would not be PLAYING IN to anything.
Isn't logic somethin?
Which category does Schwartz fall in under? There are plenty of us Hawkeye fans that aren't conspiracy theorists that don't classify a play in game loss as a Tournament appearance.

Yes.Fine, eat it Fry - you suck and no one likes you. Is that better? I am the smartest person on the board and know more about basketball then you because I saw some stats that Ken Pomeroy tweeted? Am I doing it right?
You’re right about that.I don't think anyone asked you shit.
