MSU's defense was flat out nasty. Not saying that the "thuggery" and arrogance didn't tick me off on Saturday, but it wouldn't have bothered me if they didn't kick own us up and down the field. They knew that Saturday we were their whipping boy and they wanted to let us know it. That said, I definitely think there's a fine line between being mean and nasty and being cheap and dirty. MSU is both, but there isn't a doubt in my mind that they could be as physical and solid a defense and leave the cheap stuff behind them.

That was actually the right call. He also went too far. That wasnt just playing to the whistle. However, yes, the dude trying to kick him should have been booted(no pun intended)...

Disagree RJ. VanSloten drove his guy to the ground and then kept him down. Linemen do it all the time. The refs got that one wrong and then completely failed on ejecting the kid for kicking.
