So I see a few of those kids are headed to PSU. I don't follow wrestling recruiting at all, so how is Iowa looking in regards to that in the next few years? I follow it during the year, but don't have the time to follow the recruiting aspect.

Yeah it was pretty good last year, as was PSU and PSU looks to be racking up the big names again this year. One thing cael could do is recruit...

Iowa will also have stud 197 transfer Cayle Byers coming in and Raider Lofthouse will be joining the team after taking a year off and just living in Iowa City. There are still a couple more irons on the fire so we'll see how those turn out.

I would expect bigger numbers and probably some bigger names again next year...

Pin2win is right, Jason is Alex's little brother. Do not expect him to be a Hawkeye though.

Iowa is still working on a couple of guys on the 2011 class and will turn their attention to the 2012 class shortly after classes are over. I expect to see Gilman and Clark as Hawkeyes in the 2012 class. They need to find a 197 lber in that class too. Meeks has already committed to Nebraska, Hathaway and Koethe are interested in other schools and although I'm not sold on Peters quite yet, he could be a possibility. There may be yet more scholly money opening so we will see how they fill out the 2011 class, but I expect most of it to be spent on the 2012 class.

Personally I would LOVE to get Peters,Gilman and Clark. There is a possible 197lber out there but he will b hard to get away from Whisky. Atleast there is some money being freed up although not how I would like it to b.
