You're a glass half empty individual. I'm a glass half drunk individual. I don't choose to look at things in the rearview mirror. Why? Because it does no good. It's a smart decision. You think Valley football players will travel to Ames for the Clowns spring game when the Hawks are right at home on their own turf? Not unless they are diehard Clown fans. I'm sure the Hawks will find a way to get the Valley team involved in it somehow. Whether that is just hanging out in their locker room with the Hawkeye players or helping set up cones for drills and what not. It's a good idea. Sure it would have been nice to see awhile ago but who really cares?

Nope, don't hate him at all. I complain about him a lot because he's not a good coach at present.

I am glad they are going to come to Des Moines for the spring game. What hawkeye enthusiast would not be? Even if you don't live near DM, it's good to move it around.

Yes, I am complaining changes didn't happen soon enough. If they had, you might not have had a horrible season last year. You have to review what's going on regularly. ferentz evidently did not.

i think the problem is you NEVER say anything positive about the iowa football program. instead of saying something like "wish it could have been sooner, but i'm glad to see we are taking some steps in the right direction", you say "this should have been done years ago". the closest i've seen you to complimenting the iowa football program is saying iowa will beat ISU next season. and you didn't say it because you think iowa will be good, you said it because ISU will be that bad.

If you aren't then you know how miserable it is to work around someone who has nothing positive to say. My daily goal is to align with truth. Sometimes truth is positive. Sometimes truth is negative. Everybody says now days, "oh, don't be negative" without knowing what the heck they are talking about.

Iowa had a bad season last year. That is truth. So, in this case, the truth is negative. I don't take sides with you positive all the time guys or you negative guys.

Now that hurts my feelings on two counts. 1. You would think I'd apply for disability if I am able bodied. 2. You hope nobody has to work with me, meaning you hope nobody has to be around me.

Trends tend to repeat themselves through out history. Almost anything can happen, but I really do think the days of ferentz going to a bcs bowl again are not coming around again. But another thing to keep in mind is that players can out play how bad their coach is. Doesn't happen often, but it has.
