Miller: Can Iowa Still Win the Big Ten?

Just like Iowa, tOSU had guys lifting 3s that shouldn't have been (McDonald, Loving) and Ross 9.

(did I guarantee a tOSU win?)

Ross should shoot 3s whenever he can, as he makes 40% of them. McDonald and Loving were a combined 0 for 1 on 3s, so I don't think Ohio lost because those two were "lifting" too much.

Yes, you guaranteed a Buckeye win.

3-9 from 3 is abit below Avg @ only 1.0 PPP, correct?
Plus, allowing guys that shoot 25% shoot any 3 pt shots is probably wrong as well. If you watched the game, you saw that tOSU gained the big lead quite easily, but the resorted to shooting 3s once they had the 10 pt lead and began to see it vaporize.

I'm quite sue I never 'guaranteed' the win. If your certain, please feel free to share the post.

For clarification, to me, saying tOSU wins easily, is not the same as flat out 100% sure "I guarantee" them to win.

Okay, we'll put the over/under at 4th. If they finish 4th it is a push. If they finish 1st, 2nd or 3rd I win the bet. If they finish worse than 4th you win the bet. Loser can't post on the basketball forum until 1/1/15? That's pretty harsh but I'm that confident. I'll bet whatever.

Bumped for my buddy Windsor. Damn I actually never read what you wrote until tonight. :) Lucky You!! :)

Congrats, I guess, but fellow Hawk fans rubbing in our noses something bad that has happened to our team just does not feel right. This collapse had very little to do with the rotations, this goes beyond that. I would expect this out of clowns or rodent fans, not from each other.

I see an over reaction here.

Were acting like this is the 1st time we've ever won any bet, we are storming the court bc we were right on one message board topic. We need to act like we've won a discussion before.

Plus I agree with others, celebrating this Iowa collapse for any reason, just doesn't feel right.

Let me know the difference when a poster has a stance and you disagree with it and go to grab photos to mock the person. That also doesn't feel right to me either when I see Hawk Fans going after Hawks Fans for a stance they have. Works both ways.

As for bumping this thread:

I don't typically do what I did last night but I was feeling frisky. After posting my thoughts in this thread back on 1/31, I left for a couple days with the family and never seen Windsor response of offering up a bet (twice actually glossed over both) until last night and after seeing it last night I felt the need to bump. My intentions where to go just read that thread again and that was it. I recalled many people ripping on me and wanted to see who they were.

I normally post my thoughts, have a little back n forth debate and move on. What a message board is intended for IMO, I felt Windsor needed a bit more attention, he has a way with his words and a delivery on this site that tries to belittle those that he disagrees with.

As for your bolded comment. We must watch a different basketball game each and every night. From not having a 8-man rotation to tossing lineups together that have players playing out of positions you will get exposed. Give me good effective rotations for 40 minutes and Iowa has 4 more wins and is not in a freefall.

See above as to why I bumped. Didn't celebrate I bumped a thread.

It's sucks what happened to Iowa. But not surprising to me. This thread bump could have rode off into the sunset but I guess some need to keep on keepin on.

When things are falling apart is the wrong time for team mates to rip in each other, and for bloggers tp rip on each other and the players.

Peace to you predator...

Irregardless of the bet some of the posts in the first few pages of this thread are comical now that the season has played out like it has.

Yikes, I don't even think the most pessimistic Hawk fans would have seen the finish happen like it did.
