The Iowa battle at 141 is going to be interesting. Time to see who comes out of this tournament on top between the three Hawkeyes at this weight.

There are some loaded weight--165, 184, and HWT. Speaking of HWT, you have the defending National Champion, fighting to earn the starting spot on his own team......and the 6th seed at the Midlands.

Can't wait for these matches to get started.

141 will be highly watched but i do wish there were some more unattached wrestlers in this tournament

did and dII or dIII wrestlers get invited?

I noticed that there were no former college wrestlers in the pre-seeds. Didn't Bono wrestle last year. I know that there were D-II and D-III invited last year, because there were a couple of kids from Wartburg in the tournament. Not sure about this year.

There are ex college wrestlers in the pre seeds

157:

197:
4. Wynn Michalak, Chippewa WC

Hwt:

Thats a few I may of missed a couple, is Kennedy graduate last year as well?

If this is how 141 is seeded I would like to see all three score for the Hawks they could finish 1,2,3.

yea i saw the ex-alum but no dII/III

tournament would be a lot more competitive with them in it and hate to see this tournament lose its stature

Not that big of deal but dont think Hutter from ODU at 133 will be there, they wrestle at the southern scuffle this year.

Was listening to Ironside on the radio yesterday and he wasn't too optimistic about Dennis making it because of his ankle sprain.
