Michigan Game Plan

To the OP, unfortunately Iowa is going up against the best secondary in the nation. They won't be able to throw it all around. They couldn't do it against lesser teams they aren't going to do it against Michigan.
Iowa's real problem this years is controlling the LOS and TOP. Iowa keeps losing time of possession. The key will somehow get them selves in 3rd and short and move the chains and keep Michigan O off the field the best it can. If they can't do that, they won't have a chance. They have to find a way to get 7 yrds on first and second down.
Wouldn't matter if we got nine yards every first down play. False start, followed by two yards off tackle, followed by a sack each series will negate any "good" that happens...

I personally think Michigan is going to flat out destroy Iowa..

but....

Iowa is 18.5 point Dog at Home so can we say that this might add some extra Motivation to the KF Football script. After the beat down in Happy Valley the Iowa team has absolutely nothing to lose Saturday Night. I sense we could see a very loose Iowa team...
A very loose Iowa team? So we might throw a 15 yard pass?

As I stated Iowa probably get destroyed but don't be surprised to see a very loose Iowa Team.. That said being loose might not mean much at all. Iowa has absolutely nothing at all to lose!!

MGoBlog linked on HN home page says it all. They've even circled GD on this pic as an offensive trouble spot for Iowa. If you haven't read the article it's well worth the laugh.

Plan A: If it isn't working you go to plan B.
Plan B: No matter what happens you stick to plan A. Only go to plan C in the most dire of circumstances.
Plan C: Try and figure out went wrong with Plan A and re implement. If all else fails go to Plan D.
Plan D: Hope for a few garbage points at the end of the game off Michigan's 3rd team to save face. Plan E is only
used when none of the above makes any sense.
Plan E: That's football.
I predict by half time it won't matter what the plan was anyway. I hope I'm wrong.

Your house has burned to the ground. It is a smoldering pile of ashes, then a JDam bomb hits and blows it all up creating a crater which removes all memory of what was there before. The house has burned down and we await the bomb on Saturday
