True, but teams come out of downturns all the time. Like I keep saying it isn't like we played well for 2 weeks, then hit the skids. They played at a pretty high level for 2 months. I really think it is going to help when we are playing teams that haven't seen us before, but only time will tell.

Very accurate. Very true.

And very damn'ing towards the current coaching staff who have been 'found out' in the B1G and are being out-coached.

And we're not countering at all.

I don't get the "found out" arguement at all. If Uthoff was making the same pecentage from 3 and the same percentage of fade away shots, we would have had double digit, collapse proof leads in our last 4 games. Those 4 games would have played out exactly the same as the rest of the conference season has.

If only Izzo was a good enough coach to figure us out. Painter sure didn't figure us out. But Gard, Chambers, and frickin Crean figured us out and put a stop to out winning ways? The rest of the team could play better for sure but our All American needs to make some damn shots.

Well...this is only my conjecture, gut feeling, but I don't think the early B1G teams/coaches really took us seriously. Even MSU and Purdue after we beat the first time out.

Denzel was out our first game. And Purdue utterly disappears under any sort of a press.

The talent level of who was 'left' on the schedule was supposedly << then the first half.

Jok and Uthoff have both been taken way off their game. The bench is being smothered.

What's left?
 
As I said in another thread with stats to support my statement. We have to shoot at 43% from 2 and at least 35% from 3. We haven't lost a conference game when doing both of these in the same game. And we haven't won a game when we didn't shoot these percentages...except the home games against bad MN and NW teams. These are not lofty out of reach numbers.

Probably true. You get a team'sbest effort when you're ranked so high. Also we probably quit taking team as seriously for awhile.
 
Yea it's all about the tournament, who cares if we take a dump at the end of the year, who gives a sht about thr conference title ? It's all about the tourney , that's what I'm feeling when we're getting our sht handed to us by PSU
