You obviously stopped paying attention 2/3 of the way through the year. Prater HAS played well the last 4 games or so. His play wasn't great before then, but that can be attributed to the safeties not giving him the kind of help he enjoyed with Sash/Greenwood, and his overcompensating for that by taking more chances (and losing).
He needs just 5 receptions to break Kasper's single-season mark of 82. He needs to have 8 receptions to break DJK's career record of 173. Consider that we aren't likely to face a top defense, that's a very doable task.
