McNamara Update

I’m not saying there’s a fire but Kirk didn’t pour water on the embers and forest is real dry.
 
Cade was interviewed by BTN and was not asked about the injury.

Either Howard Griffith is clueless or he was told Cade wasn't going to talk about it.
 
Looks to me like Deacon Hill will get the start. It's a good thing he's getting all the first team reps right now. He should be ready for Utah St.

Something to this effect seemed to be the case. Which sucks for us. I'm guessing they just aren't sure how long he'll be out or how bad it is. If they knew it'd hold him out less then 2 weeks of practice or so why wouldn't they just say something to that effect? I'm guessing it's day to day and they just don't really know what to fully think yet. Monday he may wake up fine who knows. My guess is they limit him for the next 10 days or so and hopefully for the week leading up to game day he's 100% all in then.
 
JUST CANCEL THE DAMNED SEASON ALREADY. IT'S OVER. THIS IS GOING TO END UP JUST LIKE THE TIME DREW TATE HURT HIS SHOULDER GOING INTO 2006. YOU COULD JUST TELL HE WASN'T RIGHT ALL SEASON. SHOULD HAVE TWO OR THREE WINS IN THE BAG, BUT I AIN'T SEEING A BOWL GAME FOR THIS TEAM. GONNA LOSE A BUNCH OF GAMES 7-6 or 3-0.

Just shut it down. Cade's legs are more fragile than a terminator on liquid nitrogen.

KF said that he is “hopeful” that Cade will start vs Utah. He has not practiced since the injury. Cade is following a formal recovery procedure Iowa uses. He seems to be on the right course.

This is my response to KF’s 17 minute interview with availability on HN with better sound on Hawk Central. I did my best but won’t bet my social security check I got it right.
 
Well his type of injury usually ranges from one week to four weeks recovery time. Worst case he misses the first two games unless we’re not being told the truth.

On the bright side we have one of the best Offensive Coordinator’s in college football, so no worries here. :(
