McD vs Robles

U don't know much about wrestling if you watched those matches this weekend and dont' think Robles had an advantage. Nothing is going to convince you so we will all be quiet now.

I know enough about wrestling. You're right nothing going to convince me, feel free to go away if you're afraid to debate.

Pump, I dont know if you actually believe what you are saying but it seems nobody else does. He has an advantage, simple. Typical takedowns-single leg(could hit but very unlikely as he is sitting on it), double(impossible), duck under(almost impossible as he is basically laying down), front headlock spin around(very unlikely as he only has to spin while the other guy runs around), throws(most likely but extremely hard as his upper body is way too strong and him laying on the mat gives no opportunity). From the bottom-stand up(he just latches on with his strength), switch(almost impossible, there is nothing to grab). On top it has to be all arms because you cant leg tilt a guy like that, and those arms will stop anything you try. Yes he has an advantage, to say other wise is just silly.

Surely having the upper body strength Robles has is a huge advantage...but I in no way think that is compensates for the MASSIVE disadvantage he has with mobility. What in the hell was McD doing tying up with him? Stay away from him and make him shoot.

No idea how many have tried, but I know it's only been done once. Plus the guy that did it the one time, had four times to do it and only won it once. Must not be that big of an advantage.

Well, logic (you didn't forget about that, did you?) dictates that you still have to have the skill to wrestle.

But then, I haven't seen all of the kid's matches to see how the hell anybody actually scores any points, since you apparently can't get a take down on him.

You can't stay away because they aren't gonna call him for stalling they are going to ding MM. He has the sympathy of having "no" mobility.

LOL...unreal. Matt got trounced...just get over it. Several wrestlers in past years have defeated Robles using the same strategy I described.

Say anything you want but only having one leg is not an advantage.

See we can go back and force all you want, how many times has an one legged wrestler won a title?

That is a pathetic argument. How many one legged wrestlers even exist? You are entitled to your opinion, but I believe you are ignoring logic and apparently watched this match with your eyes closed.

No idea how many one legged wrestlers there are; just know that there's only been one winner at the DI level. By your logic, any one legged individual should wrestle so they can get a free education and become NCAA champion. I think your argument is pathetic and your ignoring logic. This can go back and forth and will never stop. We'll just leave at you're right in your mind and I'm right in mine. Fair enough? I'm ready to move on and enjoy the the hawks as the future is bright.
