McCall back by Indiana (at least Minnesota)?

If you are going off their podcast... He says McCall is practicing this week. The game dates are total speculation.

It would be nice to ease him into a few games (Indiana and minnesota) before the meat of the schedule

Oh that is fantastic....That means he will definitely be back by the Michigan game! That's the only game I get to go to this year... :(

McCall can receive a medical redshirt if he doesn't play the rest of the year. A medical redshirt can be granted in cases where the player has played less than 30% of a team's game.

why not just let him heal and hopefully he gets a medical redshirt for the year? )

if we're not using canzeri then what makes you think we would even use McCall?

You're right, I am speculating to the game. But it's hard for me to think a guy couldn't play within 1-2 weeks if he's practicing. Its not a muscle - its a bone - and some people can heal in less than 3 weeks. I hope McCall is one of 'em. It LOOKS like he's one of 'em...

That is not true if the player has been cleared to play. If he is cleared and can play and the coaches hold him out it would be a wasted year and he wouldn't be eligible for a medical red-shirt.

If McCall can play this year, he is not eligible for a medical hardship waiver.
