May's dunk

Was telling the wife that he will make one highlight real play during the game, then 5 minutes later, SLAM.
 
Eric May...or a metaphor there of...moving forward... is exactly what this team needs. If IOWA makes an unexpected run into the tourney... it will be Eric May that is the difference. I really wish he had a year of eligibility left.
 
And to think last summer and fall, posters were saying he should be playing football instead of basketball.
 
That was Lebronesque... only not quite as high and not quite as powerful. Still a damn impressive dunk for a white boy from Iowa. Loved the way he just made up his mind to attack the basket.
 
Funny how last year the opinions on May were so different. I tried telling everyone he was playing through injuries.

He will be missed, hopefully the team can send him out properly with a trip to the NCAA tournament.
 
Love the way AW screens out at the last second to clear the alley for him. Eric takes off from near the bottom of the 1 in B1G. Saweet!

And after the dunk AW looked more fired up about it than Eric did!! Plays like that are so much bigger than the 2 points.
