Martin OK'd

And we are all a bunch of wankers for making up all these crazy theories. They have not yet heard from NCAA (unless you want to go tinfoil-hat conspiracy and argue that KF is lying for some reason).
Sorry man, I heard what I heard, it's from as reliable source as I can think of. I still think it's true, I doubt KF would lie about it though. I'm not sure what's going on.

I'm not sure but it could be he has to be cleared by the Big Ten as well, not just the NCAA. Maybe KF is waiting until this is 100% done deal. I get the feeling there is stuff going on behind the scenes, not just waiting for the NCAA.

I think this is probably likely as well, something is holding up the release of the information and I'm not sure what it is. Would Kirk be the first to know about the waiver or the family? It could be that the family is waiting for paperwork to be signed or something before it can go public, but of course that is pure speculation.

To me the way KF stated it they kinda know the answer and are waiting on the remaining formalities. In my view based on his statements.

I still think that if they were going to rule that he is NOT eligible, that would have happened by now.

So I believe that the opposite is true, and he WILL be granted eligibility.

This makes a lot of sense. They have to know that Iowa is giving him a lot of reps in practice and by holding up a denial they would denying Iowa to focus all that time on a eligible receiver.

This is the NCAA intentionally trying to throw a wrench in Miami's game plan. Hard to scheme to defend a player if you don't know whether or not he's playing. Well played NCAA. Well played.

I don't know why but the fact that we've got 9 pages (and absolutely nothing of substance) in this thread intrigues me.

@Ree4 @GHawk ,

What's the explanation?

Does MS13 have the Martin family tied up in their basement with guns to their heads telling them to deny all knowledge?

I'm curious as to your guys' theory...

Your source was wrong?

Your source lied to you?

Family is lying conspiracy?

U of I is lying conspiracy?

NCAA told your super duper source but hasn't yet told the U or the Martins?

Has to be one of those five, right?
