This is a natural reaction from the players Lickliter and his staff recruited. It will be up to the new coach to evaluate the situation and then reach out to those players he deems vital to rebuilding the program.
I'm not sure all of these new recruits meet that criteria.

No offense to Marble, but I could care less what he or any other recruit thinks. The program is bigger than any one coach or player and if he can't deal with it, then he can ask for his release and go to some mid-major program.

Since Marble is a high school kid, I think we should ignore this as much as possible (his grammar and spelling included). He clearly is inclined to use the internet to communicate and may, therefore, read these posts.
We all want him to come to Iowa, so perhaps we should give him some space and time to figure everything out.

I agree with the above statement, it is bigger than any 1 recruit or player. Barta cannot decide whether to make a coaching change based on who the incoming recuits will be. That doesn't change the fact that he was 38-58 over 3 years. This program is in a deep hole and it will take a lot to bring it back. If not Pearl, I am hoping for a top assistant coach from a MAJOR program. Go Hawks!

Who cares? The kid is a legacy recruit who received offers from; Buffalo, Dayton, Detroit, Fairfield and Providence....I think the kid is ****** because he's worried about getting on the floor with the new coach. Just like the other three recruits, he is a sleeper at best.
