No offense to Marble, but I could care less what he or any other recruit thinks. The program is bigger than any one coach or player and if he can't deal with it, then he can ask for his release and go to some mid-major program.

Exactly. I really hope we are not making major decisions based on one recruits opinion, especially a minor recruit like jr.

This should be expected. No one likes change. And I imagine all of the recruits and most of the players are nervous. There are too many unknowns for them right now. Who will be the new coach? What system will be installed? Will they fit that system?

With time, most of these players will adapt to the situation. Just give them time.

He needs to make the best decision for himself. If that means Iowa, awesome, if not best of luck to him. I would rather not have him at all, rather than he comes for a year or two and transfers.

Who cares? The kid is a legacy recruit who received offers from; Buffalo, Dayton, Detroit, Fairfield and Providence....I think the kid is ****** because he's worried about getting on the floor with the new coach. Just like the other three recruits, he is a sleeper at best.

You know, there was a lot of different ways some of you guys could have responded to this without being such jerks about it -- you got the outcome you wanted, after all. Even though it is understandable if they are upset, I hope all four recruits still come here as they all have something to offer.

Upset yes, surprised no. Its not like Licks prowess as a head BB coach was legendary or something. Pretty hard to hide hte number of losses over the last three years.
I guess I would look at it as an opportunity because Lick's program was pretty narrow focused and now pretty much any new coach should be an upgrade.
