Lunardi Says.....

I guess I don't understand why Iowa is not in yet when teams like Iowa State, Maryland, and BYU are supposedly in better position than Iowa. None of those teams have a win as good as Iowa (vs. Wisconsin). Sure, they may have played a few more ranked teams in the non-conference portion of the schedule, but they didn't accumulate any wins against them.

Still not bad, Iowa is among the last 4 out and Illinois is among the last 4 in. That could easily flip especially if Iowa takes care of business March 5th.

ISU is playing well right now, they are playing a weaker conference schedule than Iowa but still in the end it all depends on who wins more games and which wins look better. ISU and Iowa, neither team have a BAD lose right now.

Iowa's best win so far (RPI wise) was against ISU at home, ISU's worst loss this year was against Iowa. Plus we lost to Virginia Tech. Surprised we're even in the conversation

No complaints here, Iowa is right where they deserve to be IMO. Finish the deal against Indiana and/or MSU and they would be in right now.

We (everyone except you) wonder why you are still here and using the term "we". Virginia Tech was undefeated through 7 games with little to no depth. Their only really bad lose was to Georgia Southern. Other than that, they haven't lost to a sub .500 team. Not great but not horrible, after all they are in the second best basketball conference.

Good thing this really doesn't matter until the season is over anyway.

MSU would really have been a good game to have won. And we were up by double digits too while missing shots.

You do make a good point, there.
ISU's best win is over a BYU team that is quite frankly, not any good. ISU conference record is 3-1. The combined conference record of the 3 teams they have beaten is 1-13.
BYU doesn't have anything close to a good win and has gotten their a** handed to them against any decent team they have played.
