He bobbled and lost the ball while hitting the ground, had nothing to do with his feet, he back judge waited and waited knowing he saw the feet in bounds but then he saw the loose ball.

Correct call because he eventually dropped it. He would have needed to retain possession all the way through, but he dropped it at the end. I was surprised the commentators didn't explain that, as I had heard that rule explained in previous games.

Agree with Freddy. Bobbled and or dropped the ball when landing on the ground. And, commentators neglected to clarify the situation/result of the play. Awesome effort by George!
