Under the head coach Iowa has once again become unable to compete against teams with moderate talent to upper level talent. Freshmen are on the field for a reason. It isn't their earth shaking talent, it is desperation. The team is poorly coached and boring. Same movie, once again.

And a side note...with two weeks to prepare it is simply astounding how predictable Iowa was, and with no energy.

And...Minnesota must wonder how they lost to this team...really, Iowa?

Ferentz isn't going anywhere soon unless he strings a few bad seasons together back to back (and with his recruits) that could happen. If he is convinced he just can't get things back together (and I think we are seeing a trend this year) he might just step down and save a long drought. That's why the contract extension was such a joke...we should be having unofficial discussions with Bielema. Now I know I'll get smacked by some for saying have unofficial discussions but that's how you recruit....it happens all the time in the business world.

Actually your "inside information" is pretty poor. I think your first major one was saying that Scherff was going to stay for his Sr. year and CJ was going to transfer. So you were 1 for 2 in that one.

I think you insinuated you knew that Willies was gonna quit, but you never came out and said that before he did it, just said you knew he was going to after the fact. What you DID say after Willies quit is SEVERAL BIG NAMES were going to be transferring as well after the 2014 season.......But no big names left after the 2014 season.

I was told during the season last year actually. I was in class with a kid on the team. Then I made a thread that someone would leave and someone would stay. Scherff was the one staying, Beathard was the one leaving.

This was '14 before Willies transferred. Then after Willies transferred you claimed again that CJ would transfer.

I told Jon who my sources were last week.. Here's what I was told..

"CJB was going to transfer and was told he would compete for the job, and JR would be on a short leash"

I've already addressed the CJ aspect. And I've said on here before I have a... physical relationship with someone that knows stuff.
