I thought Brandon Wegher was the perfect back for us. If he would have played out his career.... He coulda been Christian McCaffery before he was. Had the intangibles for being a RB with his ability to run with his eyes. Would we have used him like that is probably a fair question. I think BF would have like he is Goodson now but back then with KOK I'm not so sure. But regardless he'd have done some serious damage no matter what

Agree. He could have been very special at Iowa if he could have stayed on the rails. I didn't realize he came with a little baggage and Iowa was going to have issues with him.

Yeah he knocked up his gf I think he did go on to marry her at some point. I thought I saw rumors he'd been sleeping with another players sister or gf or something like that. Along with his grades going in the toilet. I can't even remember now what all he had going on but he wasn't exactly dialed in. Crazy to think with all things he had going on and the bouncing around he did that he still got a cup of coffee in the NFL. For a smaller white guy that in and of itself was impressive. His potential was through the roof. It sucks he never came close to it at Iowa or the pros.
