Lestikow article on-Rotation

Well, since you have no way of proving it, I will say yes. Many of them would have played against Connor at one point or another (like the kid from Webster Groves). They actually do know of other players. Iowa City West has been playing out of state for the last few years - they can't get 5 teams to play them in non-conference.

Plus, all of the other coaches are telling the players - look, Connor is going to Iowa and he is going to play PG. You don't really want to go there.

Look at the kids we offered last year at the PG position, they're not local kids besides Moore who was from Chicago and Jackson who was junior college so he wouldn't have seen him play.

He played off the ball in that camp actually, I remember seeing it on Twitter. If Fran couldn't get a PG to come in because of his combo guard son than he failed, simple as that

So you were wrong, some of the top guys we offered have not only seen him play, they have played with him or against him.

Link? I would love to see those tweets. Also, if you believe them, then you just aren't paying attention. If they wanted Connor to play off the ball, he would be doing it now while Devontae Lane is on his HS team. Plus, what do you think the other coaches are telling those recruits? Have you ever went to an AAU tourney or a camp? It will open your eyes.

Now, am I blaming all of this on Fran not getting a PG? Nope. He needs to do a better job of selling his program to recruits at the PG position (which Fran played). I will agree that he has had his limitations doing that. But, to say that his kid coming here who plays that position is not a factor at all is also not true IMO.

Who has played with him or against him? Moore maybe? Everyone else was either east coast, west coast or JUCO

I am mobile and maybe missed your point. Connor played with Malik Williams and others at this camp. I feel you are talking only PG recruits, you are wrong as well. Jordan Bohannon saw Conner play a TON.

Jordan committed the second we offered. I am only talking about PG recruits.

Does Lane play off the ball? He was quite a few more assists than Connor

Yeah, the 9th one we offered after Fran went 0-8 because he "couldn't overcome his combo guard son coming in the following year". Haha can't make this stuff up

So you were wrong about guys we offered not seeing Connor play. Like I said, I already knew that.

Pete was a big time fallback as well. Was that a "recruiting fail?"

I doubt most of them saw Connor play. None of them were at that camp you posted. Pete was like #3 on our list wasn't he? Definitely not #9.

That isn't what you said. Just own it, you were dumb and said something dumb and it was proven you were dumb and said something dumb.

What was proven to me that I am dumb? The only thing you posted as a list of players and none of them were the ones we missed out on.

How can recruiting be his biggest flaw when he routinely finishes better than the recruiting rankings?

And is this the 4th straight year with a player on the 1st team All B1G? He must really excel at player development then if recruiting is his biggest flaw
