Why he is tabbed for the big events like the Final Four and NFL football games is beyond me.

Nantz his a nice, pleasant style that appeals to the masses and makes the network big money.

Supposedly he was flying from Indy last night after the game directly to Augusta, where he'll be doing the Master's this week. A sportscaster who turns off half the audience won't last long and certainly won't get the major events.
