LaBron - My life is better than yours.

Asked if it bothered him that so many people are happy to see him fail, LaBron's response was, "No, because they are going to have to wake up tomorrow and still have their problems."

The guy makes 16 million per year. If losing an NBA championship all of the sudden makes your life ******, I guess I would take that ****** life.

I wish the media would have just came out and asked, "why were you so passive? Why were you not attacking? Why did you suck in the 4th quarter?"

I didn't take it that way and I hate Lebron

I really don't see any other way to take that line. It sure sounds like self pity all the way on LeBron's part. "See, you got what you wanted, and your life hasn't changed at all." Guess what? That's true for all sports and all fans in 99.999999% of cases. The Hawks win a national championship. Is my life any better, do I not have the same problems as the day before? Of course not.

Where you watching it live? He stammered through it but I don't think he meant it that way. Like I said, I hate Lebron James so I hate to stand up for him

He's right. He went on to say something along the lines of people may be happy for a few days, weeks, or months but sooner or later they still have to deal with their lives.

Unless he does something incredibly stupid, his children are set for life, if he is wise with his money, so are his grandchildren. Few can make that same claim.

It is just way LC to play the I got mine card. It also might be an indication of what is truly important to him and why he is NOT a champion. Think Wade would say that? No way! Wade would say, they might be smiling now, but we are going to get back in the gym and watch film and do what we need to do to wipe those smiles off their faces next year.

Lebron is a joke. He was still looking to pass it off to someone else when the game was on the line in the 4th like every other game. He is a great player but not a champion. Hell, Berea is more of a champion than he is. He has heart, Lebron...no heart=loser=no ring.

Crap! I am actually agreeing with a cyclone fan. People are letting their dislike for Lebron cloud their rationale. He did a poor job of getting his point across, but the only thing he was trying to say was despite however you feel about me your life won't change.

Caarhawk/TM you guys are sharp people, but you guys are reaching on this one, bending over backwards for every negative thing you can find.

I really don't think so. I have seen too many people in my life try to throw some perceived advantage in other's face when they end up on the wrong side of an argument.

It just seems like a version of an ad hominem argument when you attack the person making the argument instead of their actual argument. Why else would the lives of people that were rooting against LaBron matter?

I'm not ashamed to admit I'm a die-hard hater when it comes to LeBron/Heat. Just let me have this one for a day or two :D

the actual argument is I don't like you because (fill in the blank)......which in essence is an ad hominem attack.

I don't like LeBron, for a number of different reasons. But I also have thought for some time now that he just doesn't have "it" mentally to be "The Next Jordan". He just doesn't seem to be wired to be one of those guys that refuses to lose and will close out the game if it kills him. Jordan obviously wasn't successful every time, but that's the kind of fire he played with. I just don't see that at this point from LeBron.

Some of the other things I talk about serve as some level of evidence for that opinion, while the other stuff is just crap that annoys me.
