He recruited heavily from MN. Some from Wisky, Col and a smattering around the nation. He isn't gonna win at KSU with MN recruits. Will be interesting to watch. At KSU not only will he need more speed, he'll need more of them. NDSU would not beat D1 teams late in the year likely. Sort of like ISU not being good later in he season. Depth is something Campbell will have to address.
 
I don't really care who KSU hires. I know that I don't want BF as our next HC. That's a disaster waiting to happen. A HC is only as good as the staff they assemble. Who is BF going to go out and hire? His only gigs are at New England and here at Iowa. It's not like he has a Barry Alvarez type to help him and KF's staff has been eroding since 2004. We'll have to endure it, I'm sure. Doesn't mean we have to like it.

Who says he's only going to get MN recruits from KSU? Why do you presume they won't go to other areas?
 
From a current Iowa recruit.......saying that he has taken visitations to other Big 10 schools and that all the BIG coaches said they are really hoping Brian get's the head job at Iowa after daddy is done. Figure out what that means?!?
 
I think Klieman is gonna do well at K-State. I'm actually rooting that he does, as he would be a very good candidate for the Iowa job when Kirk steps down if he does do well at K-State.

I gotta see proof on that one before I come close to believing it. That would be a former recruit if he said anything like that even a tiny bit publicly.
 
I live close to Fargo and fans and players love this guy. That does not mean he will be great at KSU but his teams play well and seem to be very well coached. Will our line coach go with him and become OC? Will be interesting to see how that plays out.
