For realz? Those two were awful. They didn't even know there was a game going on. The droned on and on about West Point and what a great game it was when they faced each other back in 19 ought two.

It was clear that neither one had any interest in this game. Give me Dakich any day. Or anybody else. That was an embarrassment. It was like listening to two old geezers play cribbage and BS at the VFW.

They are enjoyable to listen to for me, two basketball guys and I liked what they had to say about both teams when it was actually interesting enough to watch.

The quote of the night: "Fran McCaffery has really been through a lot in his career, he had to spend 11 years at South Bend under Digger Phelps."

When Iowa is good next season, look for Digger to take credit for grooming Fran.

eh.... it was like when they missed a shot - knight would say "ohh they shot it too quick there..."

Of course when they made the shot the other 100 times they shot it he said nothing.

Rest of the night: Raftery after every shot -"did they shoot it too fast there coach? or.... "Yeah (disappointed tone) just too quick with the shot there."


Yes it was just pure genius to listen to...
