i find it interesting that no one has asked kirk about the record vs .500 and above conference foes the past three seasons. maybe someone has and i missed it. but asking how he feels not winning the West again is a softball compared to asking why we are, essentially, a bottom feeder in the B1G in his 21st season.

The media has certainly quoted KF’s record in detail on numerous occasions. Bottom feeder? Nope. Not even close. Don’t overstate your case if you want to maintain credibility. He has also made it clear every year that it is the goal to win the West every year. The problem with the coaches is that they have failed to reach this stated goal consistently. I will defend what the F I want to. If you're going to be so angry that you won't read my posts than STFU. I was defending a one game performance where we happened to score 63 points. I don't think Brian is qualified to be an OC and I certainly don't think he's qualified to be a head coach.

Who are the "many of us" who are really tired of it? I will wager that many more are tired of you. This is a forum. You spew outright venom while ignoring facts while basically telling the rest of us how to support our sports teams. I support your right to have an opinion but if you can't support it with simple common sense then you can take your narratives and SHOVE them.

Me too. But I'm not going to fly into a rage if it doesn't happen. I do fly into a rage when people attack my posts without reading them properly.

Nowhere did I say I am a supporter of Brian. I pointed out one incident where his game plan clicked. I have spent more time pointing out how a lack of tight ends has crippled our offense this year, particularly in the red zone. That TE drag route across the middle that Noah and TJ ran so effectively is non existent, and three fourths of the way through the season our OC hasn't come up with a solution that will lead to more TD's, less FG's.

We have an offense coming to town this weekend that puts anything we have seen this year to date to shame. Answering TD's with FG's won't cut it this week. We may have to duplicate the 48 points we scored against them last year, and get just as creative in order to do it.

Those big tall athletic WR have a way of making shorter DBs look bad. Our safety better be ready for an all assault on him.

This could be the game where we miss Brents. And if I recall correctly, Minnesota was his coming out party last year.

I would also like to see Merriweather get his free safety spot back as well. But the union card situation seems to be developing there. Koerner is going to get tested this week. And i am not impressed by a free safety who has started for two months and has yet to get a pick.

Yes, MN has some outstanding WRs, but, regardless, those corners really stunk it up yesterday.

Yes and BF didnt attack them down the field. Yes their was a pass rush but throw it on first down, on a lot of downs and throw it down the field, way down the field and let Smith, ISM and Tracy run under it

Iowa would have to win their 3 remaining games. Minnesota, Illinois, Nebraska

Minnesota would have to lose their three remaining games. Iowa, Northwestern, Wisconsin

Wisconsin would have to lose 2 of their three remaining games. Nebraska, Purdue, Minnesota
