Kinnick expansion?

If we get good again, with the expansion of other stadiums around the B1G and the country as well as the long waiting list for season tickets would/could they ever consider expanding seating at Kinnick.

Don't get me wrong, I love Kinnick. The old-style feel and the up close atmosphere of the fans is something most teams' fanbases don't get to enjoy. It just feels like there's so much history and tradition every time you step inside of Kinnick. I'm just askin' cause I'm curious.

We're maxed out except for a couple of wedges.

They did an engineering analysis when they expanded last time and determined the sub-street structure on the east side couldn't hold any more weight.

when tickets are consistently scalping for 2x face and the seats are consistently full even for directional DII team...then maybe....after a few years.

Rather than Kinnick expansion or upgrades they should use all that football revenue and build a new stadium out on the Interstate.

Kinnick is a historical place and should be treated as such but its time has come and gone. Bench seats, small bathrooms and concourses, first row seats are the worst in the house (they should be the best), its just time to move on.

Moronic considering the $90 million that was invested in Kinnick less than 10 years ago.

Off campus stadiums are always a good idea.
