KF:If you want night games, go win

What say the KF haters? To me, that is exactly what you say. Be vested in your team, make your mark in Hawkeye history, and go do something about it.

Seems odd that he is telling the players to "go win." Isn't it really the fans and administration who should be saying this to him?

Have you ever talked to a kid? Try doing it when a good looking gal walks by. Plus you only get so much time with them and winners work at it everyday.

No, it seems like he is using it as motivation. I hope for the players that this translates into early season success, because I do feel that the motivation is there for this team. Ealy adversity in the form of a couple of losses could really make things difficult for them.

If we lose enough games and fan attendance drops and we get kicked out of the B1G and picked up by the Big East then we can play on Thursday nights.

Well KF and I agree on one thing. If the kids don't win it on the field we're sunk cause I have no faith we are going to out coach anyone. Captain coward is going to continue driving off the same bridge play after play, game after game, season after season.

KF is using this as motivation. Each season and each team needs a unique set of movtivations. Even Alabama needs a renewal of motivations each season.

However, for this to be "published" gives the appearance that the sole responsibility for success this season is with the players; a shift of public focus. The effort was there last season and we lost. I'll assume the effort will be there this season, as well. But if we lose like last season, it isn't only on the players, and the people in charge should then be accountable and dealt with.

From break the rock to win during the day.. :) make sense, not really..

So last season was all on the players?? Not!! Last season was a complete JOKE from TOP TO BOTTOM.. IMO Mostly from the TOP...

ABSOLUTELY. Has this guy been watching his OWN coaching miscues over the past couple of years!?

Like his decision NOT to give the QB backups ANY playing time even after the season was a lost cause. NOW we have no idea if ANY of these guys can play.

Giving your team a chance to win is one thing. Denying the obvious, like against Penn St., is just plain narcissism.

KF has no control over what is "published", and what isn't. So to say that because its published does nothing to give appearance to anything, other than the writer wrote something.
Furthermore, the players admitted after last season effort wasn't always there; nor was accountability to the way everyone approached things. Coaches also said basically the same thing, and said they weren't happy with last season and were looking for ways to get better.
All around, everyone (coaches and players) took responsibility for last season and are working this offseason to improve.

The guy who choose to take a knee with a chance to win the big ten championship on the line telling people to win.

The guy whos strategy has always been play not to lose telling people to win.

Ironic.
