KF:If you want night games, go win

The guy who choose to take a knee with a chance to win the big ten championship on the line telling people to win.

The guy whos strategy has always been play not to lose telling people to win.

Ironic.

That's what I thought. The poster child of playing not to lose and ******* his pants under pressure is telling his players to go win??

KF has no control over what is "published", and what isn't. So to say that because its published does nothing to give appearance to anything, other than the writer wrote something.
Furthermore, the players admitted after last season effort wasn't always there; nor was accountability to the way everyone approached things. Coaches also said basically the same thing, and said they weren't happy with last season and were looking for ways to get better.
All around, everyone (coaches and players) took responsibility for last season and are working this offseason to improve.

So KF, the coaching staff and the players didn't realize they weren't giving maximum effort during the season and it wasn't until after the end of the season that they all had epiphanies? To me, that type of admisson sounds more like KF lost the team and the staff last season.

Also, I didn't say KF had any control over what was written and published. I probably should have been more clear, but the "publishd" comment was directed toward the media. The Iowa media that always holds KF accountable for his teams and their performance.

No. Just looking for some fresh views/scenarios.

Offense looked a little different in the Spring game. Encouraged ?

The offense was better than what I thought. However I dont think talent is the problem. Not letting the offensive players play football is the problem. Are they going to run a no huddle? Will they try to win a game at the end? Are they still a punt first win later offense? Its the game day mistake that have led to this downfall.

It's obvious you want to turn everything around on the catching staff, but even this is a huge stretch.

I agree with his statement 100%. As I see it there are two choices. They can sit around and feel sorry for themselves for not getting a night game, or they can get down to business and address the issue at hand, right the ship, start winning, and get back to being a "prime-time" worthy program.
