I'll call it early. Wagner is getting drafted. I know he's only caught a handful of passes and the competition level is very low, but those DBs are in solid positions. There's just nothing they are going to do about a 6'7 receiver that's as quick, fast, and strong as he is. And I can't see that changing against any level of competition. There are no 6'7 DBs out there.

He'd probably be in the league right now if he started with football to begin with.

And he won't have as much football mileage on him compared to most other receivers and TE's.

He will get the opportunity to face better competition. Then we will truly know.

Any lack of success will likely be due to Florida's defense mauling the UK QB. But it will be interesting to see how he looks against their LBs. It will be critical tape for him if he wants to play in the League. The SEC East looks pretty sparse behind UGA and Florida.

Former basketball players have had a great run as NFL TEs over the past 15 years. If he goes to the league I think it's most likely as a pass-catching TE. He's got a realistic shot.

I've always thought the very same thing you mention is so stupid. The word "retarded" actually has a true medical connotation as describes diminished capacity of something. It is a very specific word and was accepted to describe individuals medically. So, it was acceptable back in the day. Then someone thought it sounded too harsh and came up with mentally challenged.
