Was it last year (or maybe two years ago) that DJK and McNutt couldn't get on the field at the same time because they played the same WR position? Stross started at one and DJK at the other, and I thought it was McNutt backing up DJK...I could be mis-remembering all this, but if that was the case, Davis isn't going to get any more reps now than he did last week, unless we go to a formation that gets a 3rd WR on the field. He's behind McNutt on the depth chart...and if the coaches weren't inventive enough to get DJK and McNutt on the field at the same time, I wouldn't be surprised to see Sandeman/Chaney at one WR slot and then McNutt/Davis at the other.
