Kansas/ISU. Did anyone watch?

I watched last night. Niang traveled many, many times. Fine ... until the refs start catching on. May want to tighten up the footwork before that happens.

Good win for them. I believe KU to be overrated, kind of like MSU. But it was still a good win, and necessary to stay in the big 12 title discussion.

I hope we both win our conferences. It would be fun to read the twitter arguments about why each team still sucks.

Sure, but it would be even more fun for Iowa to win the conference, ISU finish 4th, and listen to ISU fans say how they would have won the conference if they were in the Big 10 instead of the Big XII.

Another class act by The Booing McRonalds with the "bullshitt" and "you suck" chants. Until they are ranked as high as us, meh.

I think Morris and Niang or co best players on the team. Look how bad the offense sputtered last night when Niang was on the bench. Even if he doesn't shoot, the ball needs to go through him on most possessions. Monte played the whole game and had to. He's irreplaceable on that team.

Morris >> Niang

Uthoff >> Morris

Morris impresses the heck out of me every time I see him play. Uthoff is clearly better than both of them though.

I have noticed though Mj, that you seem to completely disappear from this site when ISU is struggling, why is that?

From Jameel McKay's Snapchat. She mad.

Can you blame him? Probably nothing to do with the team, it is just a crappy, crappy place. I mean just look at how many idiot Clown fans you gotta deal with. First Prohm has to shut down his twitter, and now McKay is obviously tired of dealing with the mouth breathing Clown fan base.

I'm sure it's just a case of Niang being "targeted" by the refs. Or the ball is just an "inch from the floor" when he starts to shuffle.

I watched and was kind of surprised that it was a boring game. Looks like the 12 will be bounced early from the ncaa tourney again.

And now that Valentino's closed...

Come on, let's be fair. Iowa is a rival in state team and they just completed a dramatic comeback. Coming back from down 22 in the 2nd half and down 8 w 2"'left is ultimately why they stormed the court.

Also, it was painful last night to watch no one play any semblance of quality defense.

Iowa State fans are living and dying off that Iowa victory. Even though they won by 1 point after coming back from down 20 IN THEIR OWN HOUSE. Does that happen on the road or on a neutral court? Just ask UNI (RPI: 150) how they play on neutral courts.

ISU beat Oklahoma in Ames by 5 and Kansas by 13. If they want to use "cyclone logic" that means Iowa is better than both Oklahoma and Kansas.

It's funny they say that, because Iowa's RPI is #1 in the nation in conference games only. Hmm...

I watched the game off and on.

On one of Niang's early travel calls, I thought to myself that he could get away with that in the NBA. On the last one I thought, "nope, even an NBA ref could not let that one go"

Admittedly I've only seem them once, but it looks like Kansas struggles big time in half-court offense.

And finally, I really think Morris needs to leave after this season.

Watched until I heard Brent Musburger say Hilton Magic for the 20 time then ran to the toilet to heave.

That was 2:00 into the game.:D

I've been pretty sick the last couple months. As much as I enjoy sports banter, having health scares and being in and out of doctor's appointments are no fun. ISU had a bit of a rough patch, but hopefully it made them realize they'll lose a lot of games with the shotty defense they were playing. So far so good, but the schedule doesn't lighten up any the next week or so.

I hope that your health scares are under control and treatment. When you have these it really puts in perspective these "trivial sporting events".

Please don't become a typical Clone azz Clown though and think that Iowa only wins because of the schedule. I know that is what they all say about football, so I'm sure they will be saying the same about BB as well. The fact is after Thursday's game Iowa will have a tougher conference SOS to date than ISU and probably every other Big12 team and will either be 8-0 or 7-1.
