Juanito Decommitto Harris

Not saying I'd put up with a lot of drama once he got here... he'd be on a fairly short leash if I was the coach. But I'd rather take a chance on somebody like this instead of signing our 4th or 5th choice and seeing them sitting on the bench taking up a scholarship for 4 years.

I'll take a Josey Jewell over this person. Give me someone who is focused on working his ass off once in the program with little to no outside drama in their lives.

I saw on 247 that he is visiting Michigan in November and has an offer from them. Guessing that is part of the reason why he decommitted from Indiana. Hopefully he finds a place he can stay committed to.

Oh so you can spot the future Josey Jewells in HS?
Iowa might have a recruiting job for you!

Wouldn't it be appropriate if he commits there, and then later Harbaugh "uncommits" him when somebody better comes along?

I don't know why, but I could see his having some discipline issues with keeping his weight in check. He must be able to carry that weight pretty well and have some good attributes for all the attention, but he looks a little flubby to me. May be a risk.

Unfortunately I think I'm starting to figure this out. Could someone please advise him that he could simply than the schools for the official visits rather than giving every one a courtesy verbal. In theory its a nice gesture but can lead to hurt feelings in the end.

Its kind of like one of the "free" time share vacations where all you have to do is sit through the presentation. There's nothing wrong with coming home without making a commitment to anything/anyone.

I seriously think there is something or some red flags somewhere. I mean there is some kind of baggage that needs to be addresses or worked out. Sumpin's going on.

Pretty sure he just stated he would "take" a player like JJ, didn't read where he stated anything about spotting players, maybe just me though.

Well, duh. We all would.
But his post implies the JJs are easy to spot, as if, before JJ even donned any Black & Gold, he knew he was going to be a diamond in the rough.

Hence my suggestion he become a recruiter.
