Jon, how do you stand Matt P.!!!

Listening to "M & M" this afternoon on KXNO and seriously! how do you get a word in edgewise with this guy, he constantly interrupts and keeps going ballistic about his point he's trying to make. He'a a total
flamer. I think you are many levels above him Jon, why go on his show?
or am I all wrong on this. Sorry for the unflattering words for Matt...but geez! is it just me or what?
 


Christ, even when Jon AGREED with Matt, Giggles was talking over him. THAT is the true sign that you are beyond over the top.
 


Seemed like Jon was trying his hardest not to call out Matt on how stupid some of his comments were.

I believe "oh i don't know if i agree with that necessarily" was uttered a few times.
 


Why do you guys continue to listen to that show? I like Ken Miller but not enough to keep listening. I've switched to 1700 and haven't looked back. The Mouth of the Midwest is a blow hard but at least he's entertaining. As long as you continue to keep listening to M and M, do you think they'll make a change?
BTW - I hope Matt doesn't see this. I wouldn't want him to start crying because I used his name and Marty's in the same post. (That is one thing I miss...him getting all bent out of shape when someone dropped Marty's name.)
 


I tuned in because Jon was co-hosting and was actually hoping that he would put M in his place a little, otherwise yes I've switched to 1700 also.

I can't stand either, so I don't listen to either. KXNO has gone WAY downhill beginning with the hire of Matty P.

All Perrrault does is hammer the same tired point over and over. Iowans don't care for "uncomfortable" radio, and this is what MP brings to the table.

When I have to turn on Tirrell because KxNO is unlistenable...that is sad.

I tried 4 different times to listen to Jon on the show, but turned it off within 30 seconds.

i am in agreement with a couple of posts here. I can't stand the Homer from Neb. either. I have switched to 1700 in the afternoon after Murph & Andy of course. As stated above, if you don't like it, don't listen.
 


I won't listen to KXNO in the afternoon anymore either until Perrault is gone. Marty may be crazy, but sadly he is the better alternative.

Perrault is not a Nebraska homer. He is an MVC, SEC, and mid-major honk...and admittedly.
 






Can Matt rub me the wrong way on the air? Sure he can, and we have had some heated exchanges. But in the end, it's radio.

I don't think Matt is a bad person. Even though our world views are pretty different, I believe without hesitation that if I needed help, and Matt could provide it, he would gladly lend a hand.

In the workplace, Matt is not a behind the back person; he is direct and open and I really appreciate that. You don't have to guess around him.

I realize that you all only deal with him as a listener to a show...and I understand how he can rub you the wrong way. But he's not a bad person.

Jon, this may be misjudgment on my part, but I find your intentional egging on of Perrault to be humorous. It doesn't take much to get MP worked up so it's enjoyable to watch you throw out a few well placed bombs and wait for him to go off. Well done!
 




I guess I'm in the minority but I like Matt Perrault's show. Do I agree with him always? No. But he has some insight and well-thought out takes and I appreciate that.

Now, the "Mouth of the Midwest" is unlistenable to me. He's all schtick and no substance. He thinks he's funnier than he really is. Give me the sometimes-slightly-annoying Perrault over Marty any day.
