I'm guessing no, but any info on what happened or why?

I believe Greenwood has a heart valve issue (I think that is right).
Something happened (PRESUMABLY heart related) while working out. There were HS kids watching and some saw him pass out. EMTs there. Transported to Trinity. Beyond that, nothing has been released as far as condition, until confirmation one way or another on that I suggest Hawkeye fans send out thoughts and prayers to this Hawkeye

Sorry folks..have been out the backyard with my daughters...saw this on twitter about 30 minutes ago...I retweeted what I thought was a Des Moines Register item, but it was not, it was a fake account...

Since then, KWWL, the QC Times, the Iowa City Press Citizen and Tyler Sash have confirmed that Brett Greenwood collapsed after a workout at his HS in Pleasant Valley

I will make a few phone calls to see what else I can learn, but I think most every reporter in Iowa is on this now as well.

Send up some prayers for Brett

I remember seeing a Hawkeye Football w/Kirk and they highlighted him interning for the UI Alumni foundation. The good news is that if/when he gets healthy that while his football playing may be over, he is a smart guy that will succeed in whatever he does.
