Jok

Not as much of a liability as JO is.

This is inaccurate...and your opinion...which is...well...wrong.

Jok has a chance to be good, maybe very good. But if you think he currently is a better option than JO, you are in error...unless of course you're correct and Fran is wrong....

Yeah...

People who think Jok should be playing over Oglesby don't know what they are talking about. Ogelsby has move up the depth chart since his return.

AT this point Jok is a liability at all ends of the court. He plays like a highschool kid, doesn't value the ball on offense, is mostly looking to get up shots regardless of the quality, and doesn't understand how to play defense. He actually plays younger than his age.

JO is not a great player but he makes very few mistakes and turnovers, he is not a great athlete but he understands how to play D, he has the best court vision on the team and his bball IQ is miles ahead of Jok.

Im very pleased with what Josh is bringing this year and on top of that hes finally starting to hit some 3s.

1) Josh didn't move up the depth chart. He returned from injury and has been the 4th or 5th guy off the bench behind Uthoff, Olaseni and Clemmons.

2) I think you're being a little hard on Jok. Granted he has taken some bad shots. However, in a wierd way I like what that means for his future. He's not afraid to take the shots. He knows he's a scorer and intends to be one. In fact, I think his shot selection improved in the non-conference as I'm sure Fran has worked with him. His defense also improved.

3) Josh certainly is a good passer and plays good enough zone defense to be effective. He makes few mistakes. He had 1 really good game. But let's not overreact to one game. The truth is he struggled in the first 2 conference games. I hope he continues to play exaclty how he did at OSU but I also am not going to overreact to one game.

People will be eating crow on JO play by the end of the season. He was a big part of why we won on the road at OSU, and for just coming off a broken foot, looks pretty darn good so far.
