Jim Tressel might be just as much to blame as Ferentz for JVB

If Tressel blitzs JVB to pieces in the shoe back in 09, the hype would have not been so high, and things would have been more understandable up to this point in time.

Personally, I think JVB does not fit in the Greg Davis system at all, but even in KOK's system, JVB has always struggled when faced with pressure situations.

Ok, test for you HaydenHawk56.

Out of the 100+ FBS teams, which team has system that fits JVB?

To quote Nigel Tufnel: "None!"

In serious mode, I'd say Vandy was OK in the KOK offense. I'd say he would probably be OK in the GD offense, but for losing McNutt.

For one, I think the pro-set looks Penn St was running in the Iowa game would be a good system for JVB. He clearly does better when the throwing down the field. I think he does better out of the gun than under center.

GD system is better suited for more of a duel-threat QB....which JVB is not.

Agreed. Aaron Burr would be a super-star running Davis' O.
