Jesse Palmer..

Just watching CFB live...Jesse Palmer (after saying earlier in the show that the Pac-10 was the third best conference in America, ahead of the Big Ten) just asked this question to Joe Schad:

"If the Pac-10 were to go to 16 teams would that put pressure on the Big Ten to add 6 teams to get to 16?"

And he gets paid?

He could have just gotten mixed up... but also, he could just be the biggest idiot college football analyst out there... you pick. I'm going with the 2nd choice.

I would go with the 2nd choice as well..

Sorry, but if you're constantly talking college football and getting paid to do so, that's a mistake you simply don't make..

If this were a sportscenter anchor or something I could see a mix up, but it's a freaking CFB analyst...

Jesse Palmer and his ilk are exactly what's wrong with ESPN. I'm so glad more options are becoming available.

"Mr. Palmer, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul."

I'm just curious what he's basing it on. If strictly football, wrong, Big 10 is number 2, behind the SEC, in my opinion. He is a ******.

I guess that about sums up the east coast bais by ESPN. Maybe he should learn to count.
